Singer Minh Sang honors soldiers through MV "Vietnam forever marches forward"

As a singer who regularly accompanies the Ho Chi Minh City Art Center and the City Volunteer Artist Team, Minh Sang is fortunate to bring his voice to all parts of the country. In the places he has been, he has seen the idealistic fire and great energy of today's young soldiers. It is that energy that has urged Minh Sang and his team to complete the MV "Vietnam Forever Progresses" to contribute a small part of their sound to honor the indomitable and heroic soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army.

The product “Vietnam Forever Progresses” is also the first time a music product has chosen to combine a completely new form: Reading the proclamation - which is both a unique creative highlight and clearly defines the male singer's musical style in the upcoming journey: developing youthful, new cheerleading songs but still exploring and introducing the quintessence of national music to today's audience.

“Vietnam Forever Progresses” is a new composition by young musician Nguyen Tran Minh Son. Despite his young age, Nguyen Tran Minh Son chose to explore songs about his homeland, country, and praise the nation... Feeling that harmony in his musical journey, singer Minh Sang proactively “ordered” Nguyen Tran Minh Son to write a new song to pay tribute to the soldiers who still guard the peace of the Fatherland day and night on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army.

It is not only an epic song praising the indomitable spirit, courage and heroism of soldiers passed down and nurtured through thousands of years of history of fighting to build and defend the country, but also carries the breath of today's era - the era when the country is firmly stepping into a new era.

Singer Minh Sang shared: “Throughout this music project, Sang has determined that the audience group he wants to target is young people, with modern music tastes. Therefore, like in the MV 'Bright Youth of Vietnam', Minh Sang trusted and collaborated with young musician Phuoc Nguyen, and Sang has also decided to choose another young face, Nguyen Tran Minh Son. Sang believes that you will have a mindset and style that is close to the taste and listening ears of today's youth.”

In this MV, the unique proclamation reading part becomes a valuable emotional highlight. According to singer Minh Sang, at first, the crew planned to incorporate a rap reading part but he felt it was not new enough to create the interesting creative effect that the project's spirit was aiming for. Therefore, the chosen proclamation reading has contributed to bringing the song to a new level - sacred and proud!

In particular, with the irreplaceable performance of People's Artist Huu Quoc, the proclamation truly touches the hearts of listeners. As soon as it was released on various platforms, the heroic proclamation in the MV "Vietnam Forever Progresses" was quickly spread and shared.

“Although we haven’t had many opportunities to work together, Huu Quoc finds Minh Sang to be a young singer with a gentle demeanor towards colleagues and also extremely serious in recording and performing. Even more precious, as a young singer, Minh Sang is always passionate about choosing the music genre of propaganda, aiming at the national spirit, consciously combining it with valuable assets to preserve and spread to today’s young generation,” said People’s Artist Huu Quoc.

Another interesting point of the music project “Vietnam Forever Progresses” this time is the participation of a series of champions and runners-up of music competitions such as Le Xuan Nghi, Ngoc Tram, Vo Duc Tri (3 runners-up of The Voice of Vietnam), Tuyet Mai (Champion of Let's Listen to Me Sing) and singers Thai Bao and Duc Quang. Not only because of the close colleague relationship, the artists are willing to participate because of the great meaning of gratitude to the soldiers who guard the borders and islands of the Fatherland day and night to protect the land, sky and sea of the homeland that the song is aimed at.

Accompanying singer Minh Sang in mixing and making this MV is director and producer Tran Vu. Both chose a youthful, dramatic and equally impressive pop/rock style for the arrangement of "Vietnam Forever Progressing", combining the sound of drums to create an urgent spirit and a feeling of pride for the listener.

Inheriting the style of the previously successful propaganda product in the MV “Brightening Vietnamese Youth”, the MV “Vietnam Forever Progresses” chose to record singer Minh Sang and People’s Artist Huu Quoc performing among the choir and band, interspersed with unforgettable parade moments during the two major national anniversaries, reminding the message “walking among the people” of the Vietnam People’s Armed Forces.

It can be said that if the MV “Brightening Vietnamese Youth” is the first brick for a new journey, where Minh Sang positions himself more clearly in the music genre praising the homeland, country, youth ideals and national pride, then “Vietnam Forever Progresses” has a greater stature.

First of all, the song is a deep gratitude from singer Minh Sang in particular and the creative team to the soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army, from the generation of fathers and brothers who bravely overcame the fire, even lying on their homeland to gain independence and freedom, to the young generation today who still firmly hold their guns day and night to carry out the task of protecting the Fatherland's borders. On the other hand, "Vietnam forever marches forward" is also not outside the position of singer Minh Sang in the journey of pursuing the music genre of encouragement for the young generation.
