Meaningful activities to celebrate War Invalids and Martyrs Day 27 July

On the morning of July 19, Ninh My Commune Youth Union (Hoa Lu), Ninh Binh Newspaper Youth Union coordinated with a number of youth unions of agencies and units to organize meaningful activities to celebrate the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024).

Participating in the activities were more than 50 union members and youth from the following units: Ninh My Commune Union, Ninh Binh Newspaper Youth Union, Institute of Construction Planning (Department of Construction), Viettel Ninh Binh City Branch and Drug Crime Investigation Police Youth Union (Provincial Police).

Youth union members organized a ceremony to offer incense and flowers, and cleaned and tidied up the graves of heroic martyrs at Ninh My commune cemetery; they also restored and presented three portraits of martyrs: Pham Van Duyen (1964-1984), Trinh Quang Chien (1952-1973), and Pham Van Hoa (1954-1972) to the mothers and families of the martyrs. At the same time, they visited and presented 20 gifts worth 6 million VND to families of wounded soldiers, martyrs, and former youth volunteers in Ninh My commune.

Youth union branches organized cleaning and tidying up the graves of heroes and martyrs at the Ninh My commune cemetery.

Through activities contributing to traditional education , arousing gratitude, national pride, promoting the morality of "remembering the source of water when drinking water", repaying gratitude of the youth of the units; joining hands with local Party committees and authorities to take care of families of meritorious people in the area.

This helps the younger generation become more deeply aware of their responsibility to their homeland and country in the current period, determined to continuously train and strive to improve their knowledge, professional skills, and work capacity, contributing to the building and development of a more prosperous and beautiful homeland and country.
