Five works won the Hanoi Writers Association Award 2024.

The judging panel held a secret ballot and decided to award the Hanoi Writers Association Prize 2024 to the following works: the poetry collection "Going Towards the Sun" (Hanoi Writers Association Publishing House) by Le Canh Nhac, comprising 122 poems with heartfelt lyrical melodies praising the spirit of the homeland and love for the country; the poetry collection " Golden Flower Night " (Hanoi Writers Association Publishing House) by Binh Nguyen Trang, with over 40 poems rich in narrative and reflection, leaning towards portraying emotions; the essay collection " Flowers Beginning of the Journey" (Hanoi Writers Association Publishing House) by poet Nguyen Linh Khieu, a collection of contemplative prose with over 80 short essays recording memories over the years; and the literary criticism collection "Vietnamese Literature from the Milestone of Renovation 1986" (Literature Publishing House) by writer Phung Van Khai, which compiles literary portraits of many writers who have contributed to the development of contemporary Vietnamese literature. and the bilingual translation of 10 great contemporary Chinese poets' works (Vietnam Writers Association Publishing House) by translator Nguyen Huu Thang. The Executive Committee of the Hanoi Writers Association also decided to award the Lifetime Prize to writer Le Luu.
