(CT) - According to the People's Committee of Cai Rang Ward, as of the end of August 2025, the total vegetable area in the ward was 52.9 hectares, of which 19.3 hectares were harvested, with a yield of 12 tons/hectare, and a total harvest of 239,700 tons; the fruit tree area was 855.9 hectares, of which 40 hectares were harvested, with a yield of 7.8 tons/hectare, and a total harvest of 313 tons; the aquaculture area was 40.7 hectares, of which 1.7 hectares were harvested, with a total harvest of 21.75 tons.

Cai Rang continues to call on businesses and farmers to invest in urban agriculture; encourage the development of production along the value chain through the development of collective economy , cooperatives and cooperative groups to act as a bridge between farmers and businesses. At the same time, promote the application of modern technology in production and processing; link along the value chain for key agricultural products, ensure stable output and increase income for people.

Cai Rang also strengthens control, vaccination, proactively prevents and combats diseases in livestock and poultry; promptly implements plans to support farmers in relocating livestock farms in areas where livestock farming is not allowed. Regularly inspect irrigation works, reinforce dykes and dams at risk of landslides to ensure production and people's travel.
