Can Tho youth "support" people and students affected by storms and floods in Dak Lak province.

(CT) - The Can Tho City Youth Union and Student Association recently organized the "Winter Volunteer Program" 2025 and the "Spring Volunteer Program" 2026 in Dak Lak province.

Accordingly, the delegation visited and presented numerous gifts to residents and students in six communes and wards in Dak Lak province. Specifically, the delegation distributed 620 gift packages of essential goods to residents; 655 gift packages (including essential goods and school supplies) and 200 warm jackets to children; installed five water filters; awarded 130 scholarships (1 million VND each); and donated one youth project (worth 15 million VND).

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Kieu Ward and the Ninh Kieu Ward Youth Union have just launched their second relief effort to support people and children affected by floods and storms in Phu Hoa 1 Commune, Dak Lak Province. The convoy carried 4 tons of rice, 1,500 boxes of instant noodles, 190 boxes of milk and bottled water, over 6,000 notebooks, and hundreds of sets of warm clothing to assist the affected residents. Previously, the first convoy carried 16 tons of goods to support people affected by floods and storms in Tuy Hoa Ward, Dak Lak Province. These goods were mobilized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Ward Youth Union through the "Connecting Communities - Sharing Love" program (from November 28th to December 10th, 2025).
