Coast Guard investigates ship carrying 100,000 liters of oil of unknown origin.

On the morning of December 12th, the Command of Coast Guard Region 3 announced that on December 11th, its subordinate forces escorted the vessel LA 99093 TS to the port of Squadron 301 in Phuoc Thang Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, for investigation after discovering that the vessel was transporting a large quantity of diesel fuel of unknown origin.

Previously, on December 8th, the functional forces of the Coast Guard Region 3 Command inspected the vessel LA 99093 TS. The vessel had four crew members, with Mr. Nguyen Hoang Minh as the captain. At the time of inspection, according to the captain's statement, the vessel was transporting approximately 100,000 liters of diesel fuel but could not present any legal invoices or documents proving the origin of the goods. The authorities drew up a violation report, sealed all the seized goods, and escorted the vessel to the port of Squadron 301 for further investigation and processing.
