At approximately 1:50 PM on June 3rd, a task force from Team 6, Traffic Police Department, Provincial Police, discovered an oil slick about 3 km long on National Highway 4D, in the Trung Chải commune, Sa Pa town.

Immediately after discovering the spill, officers and soldiers of Task Force 6 signaled vehicles to stop, directed traffic, and dealt with the oil slick to ensure the safety of residents and tourists. Specifically, Task Force 6 used rice husks spread over the oil slick to absorb the oil and create a rough surface to prevent slipping.

The small but meaningful actions of the officers and soldiers of Task Force Team 6 have been recognized and highly appreciated by the people and tourists. This contributes to building a positive image of responsibility and "serving the people" of the traffic police force in particular, and the provincial police in general.
