The peaceful beauty of Ha Lang
One of the most beautiful spots to admire wild sunflowers in Cao Bang is Tong Nua hamlet, Ha Lang commune. Here, the yellow blossoms cover the hillsides and meander along the dirt roads. Under the morning sun, the flowers stand out even more against the backdrop of majestic rocky mountains and peaceful little houses. The pristine, tranquil borderland scenery is what makes this place so special.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Phuong, a tourist from Hanoi , shared that he spent a lot of time walking around the village to enjoy the scenery. "The flowers in Ha Lang don't grow into large carpets like in some other places, but the colors are very vibrant and the surrounding landscape is beautiful. There aren't many tourists, so taking photos is quite easy; it feels like walking in a private space of the golden season," he said.

Traveling to Quang Uyen commune and the Phuc Sen blacksmith village area in Uyen Hoa commune, visitors will encounter a very different scene of wild sunflowers. The flowers not only bloom along the roadside but also intertwine among houses, beside cliffs, and next to traditional blacksmiths' forges. The interplay between natural beauty and the rhythm of working life creates a unique charm for this highland region.

Ms. Bui Hoang Ly Ly, another tourist from Hanoi, commented: “I’ve seen wild sunflowers in many places, but in Phuc Sen, the combination of the flowers with the blacksmith village setting creates a very unique scene. You can take beautiful photos from any angle.”

Travel information
This year's wild sunflower season in Cao Bang is recorded as blooming early and simultaneously, lasting from the end of November to around mid-December. The weather at the end of the year is usually less rainy and sunny, creating ideal conditions for sightseeing and photography.

For a complete trip, visitors can combine flower viewing with exploring other famous landmarks of Cao Bang such as Ban Gioc Waterfall, Nguom Ngao Cave, Thang Hen Lake, or participate in the vibrant highland markets.
According to tourist Nguyen Thanh Binh from Hanoi, the beauty of Cao Bang lies in its unspoiled nature and lack of commercialization. “Flowers bloom along the road, many sections are a vibrant yellow and very beautiful. The scenery in Cao Bang is still pristine and untouched by commercialization, making for a truly enjoyable experience,” he shared.
