The 2025 Innovation Contest for Youth and Children in Tuyen Quang Province has affirmed that this is a prestigious scientific playground, a place to discover, nurture and "give wings" to creative ideas, helping students apply interdisciplinary knowledge to solve practical problems.

The breakthrough of digital transformation

A notable highlight is the breakthrough in the field of information technology software, with 24 products competing at the provincial level (an increase of 13 applications compared to 2024), showing that the young generation and the education sector have kept pace with the Resolution on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.

Dinh Nguyen Manh Quang, class 12C6, representative of the group of authors of Song Lo High School, said: “With the desire to protect and improve the living environment to become more and more clean and beautiful, our group has created the “Environmental protection garbage sweeper”. Using machines to free up human power and work in toxic environments is the trend of the future”.

In addition, many topics, models, products and solutions are focused on researching and applying new technology to create new models and solutions, or combining the application of new technology with the integration of many features and functions of electronic devices and the use of application software, demonstrating the enthusiasm for research and the ingenuity in assembling equipment such as "Water pump and generator using natural energy sources: flowing water, wind and sun" by a group of students from Son Duong High School; "Smart water heating system using solar energy" by a group of students from An Tuong Secondary School; "Smart solution to protect the environment and develop the economy " by a group of students from Dong Tho High School, Son Duong; "Microbiological organic fertilizer machine controlled on cloud technology" by a group of Dao Vien Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities... Some products have won awards at the Central level, thereby opening up great opportunities when applied in real life.

Achievements and development orientation

In 2025, the contest attracted over 800 topics from localities and units. The Organizing Committee selected 105 excellent topics to award prizes, including: 5 First prizes, 10 Second prizes, 30 Third prizes and 60 Encouragement prizes. Tuyen Quang province has 3 winning topics, including 1 Second prize and 2 Encouragement prizes. The Second prize belongs to the model "Hanging lake garbage cleaning machine arm" of a group of students from Ta Lung Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, Dong Van commune. 2 Encouragement prizes include the model "8 in 1 experimental set using solar energy for teaching Natural Science" of Lang Can Secondary School, Lam Binh commune and the model "Environmental garbage sweeper" of Song Lo High School, Binh Thuan ward.

Comrade Pham Van Loan, Vice President of the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Tuyen Quang province said: To continue to arouse and promote creative potential, there needs to be regular leadership and direction, effective help and support in both material and spiritual terms right from when the author has a research idea. At the same time, regularly promote and communicate about science and technology, maintain information about the competition to arouse passion for scientific research and technical innovation in the whole society, especially the young generation and students.
