On the afternoon of March 16, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (PC07) of Ho Chi Minh City Police announced that they had rescued six people trapped in a hotel fire in Thu Duc City.

According to initial information, at 2:53 PM on the same day, PC07 received a report of a fire at a hotel on Hoang Huu Nam Street (Long Thanh My Ward, Thu Duc City) and dispatched several specialized vehicles and officers to the scene. Upon arrival, the authorities rescued six people trapped inside, including two children, safely.

More than 30 minutes later, the fire was completely extinguished. According to PC07, the apartment on the 3rd floor of the hotel was damaged by the fire, affecting approximately 13 square meters along with some mattresses, tables, chairs, wooden cabinets, etc.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the police.
