This afternoon, December 13th, the Vietnam U22 team continued their training session in Bangkok, Thailand, in preparation for the semi-final match against the Philippines U22 team. Speaking to the press, goalkeeper Tran Trung Kien stated that the entire team had received a thorough analysis from coach Kim Sang-sik and the coaching staff regarding their strengths, weaknesses, and poor performances in the group stage.
"After each match, the coach analyzes the team's technical issues so we can improve and make progress. The Philippines is a strong team; they even beat the reigning champions Indonesia, so they will be a worthy opponent that we must focus on and strive to overcome," Trung Kien shared.

After two wins in the group stage against U22 Laos and U22 Malaysia, the U22 Vietnam players are in high spirits and optimistic. Trung Kien said that the whole team remains fully focused on their performance. He himself aims to keep a clean sheet for U22 Vietnam throughout the tournament.
The semi-final match between Vietnam U22 and Philippines U22 will take place on December 15th. Coach Kim Sang-sik previously stated that Vietnam U22 needs to make the most of their time, analyze their opponent to develop a suitable strategy, and simultaneously intensify training to maintain optimal physical condition.
The South Korean coach appeared quite relaxed and at ease this afternoon. Kim Sang-sik appeared on the Vietnamese national team's training ground wearing sunglasses and sporty sweatpants, directing the players during training while also taking the opportunity to chat with his assistants.

The Vietnam U22 team will hold a tactical meeting to finalize personnel, tactics, and the roles of each position before the match against the Philippines U22 team.
