Binh Tan District Police are coordinating with Ho Chi Minh City Police Department to investigate a fire at a plastic processing factory that killed one woman in the area.

At around 2:30 a.m. on October 8, residents living in an alley on Highway 1 (Binh Hung Hoa B Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City) discovered smoke and fire coming from a house that was a plastic injection workshop, so they tried to approach the scene and used water and fire extinguishers to put out the fire, but were unsuccessful.

The fire broke out fiercely from the factory.

Because the factory contained many flammable objects, the fire burned fiercely, black smoke billowing dozens of meters high. Many people living near the burning house were afraid and tried to move to a safe area.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team, Binh Tan District Police mobilized many fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire. A moment later, the fire was completely extinguished by the authorities.

The fire destroyed many properties.

The fire burned down many properties inside the factory (about 100 square meters) and killed one woman.
