Previously, with the support and approval of the Party Committee of the Journalists and Public Opinion Newspaper; the assignment and trust of the Youth Union of the Central Office of the Vietnam Journalists Association; and in coordination with the Forest Protection Department of Meo Vac district, Ha Giang province, Branch 1 of the Youth Union of the Central Office of the Vietnam Journalists Association conducted a survey and found that the Sung Mang Ethnic Boarding Junior High School in Meo Vac district had many difficulties in terms of facilities, especially the dormitory for boarding students.
The dormitory rooms are in a state of disrepair (built 25 years ago). The corrugated iron roofs are corroded, punctured, and damaged; many pillars and beams are rotten and in danger of collapsing at any time; the walls and ceilings are crumbling, posing a safety risk to boarding students on rainy or windy days. Therefore, the school has to arrange for more than 30 students to share an old classroom with an area of approximately 26 square meters.
