Proactively prepare early for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam

The Ministry of Education and Training issued Official Dispatch No. 4697/BGDĐT-QLCL to the Departments of Education and Training, the Department of Schools, and the Military Women's Committee ( Ministry of National Defense ) on instructions for implementing quality management tasks for the 2024-2025 school year.

Accordingly, for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, the Ministry of Education and Training requires units to prepare and organize the Exam well. This is the first year that the High School Graduation Exam is organized according to the 2018 General Education Program. Units need to be proactive and have a plan to implement early preparations for the Exam and propaganda work; in which it is necessary to actively and effectively contribute comments to draft legal documents, organize mock exams when possible, organize training on regulations and tasks for students, teachers and staff participating in organizing the exam; promote the application of information technology to reduce costs and increase the effectiveness of exam organization stages.

The Ministry of Education and Training requires strengthening the management function, attaching the responsibility of directing and managing the organization of exams of the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Education and Training in directing the organization of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam in the locality;

Develop and organize the serious and timely implementation of regulations and requirements in the directive documents, guiding the organization of exams to the grassroots levels; Organize comments on draft legal documents, regulations on high school graduation exams from 2025, documents guiding the organization of the exam and proactively assess the impact at the local level;

Continue to train teaching teams to develop exam questions and contribute exam questions/test papers to the exam question library in an open manner to serve the organization of the High School Graduation Exam from 2025;

Do a good job in selecting personnel for the exam; strengthen the dissemination of exam regulations; improve the quality of professional training for all subjects and forces participating in organizing the exam; pay special attention to professional training for officers in charge of inspection, supervision and prevention of the use of high technology to cheat on exams in the locality.

In particular, the Ministry of Education and Training requires promoting the application of information technology in management, direction and organization of exams; actively participating in testing exam organization software to ensure feasibility and effectiveness; analyzing, evaluating and effectively exploiting the high school graduation exam results database to serve professional management and policy issuance.
