The delegation included Mr. Hoang Van Tuyen, Director of the Northern Power Projects Management Board (NPMB); Mr. Tran Kim Vu, Deputy Director of NPMB; representatives from EVNNPT's departments, and units participating in the project.
The 500 kV Nam Dinh I Thermal Power Plant - Thanh Hoa transmission line project commenced construction in late October. With a length of approximately 74.4 km, comprising two circuits from the 500 kV Nam Dinh I Thermal Power Plant substation to the 500 kV Thanh Hoa substation, the project passes through the territories of three provinces: Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, and Thanh Hoa.
EVNNPT Chairman of the Board of Directors Nguyen Tuan Tung (second from the left) inspects the project's construction drawings.
This is one of four component projects of the 500 kV circuit 3 transmission line project from Quang Trach ( Quang Binh ) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen), with a total length of approximately 515 km, passing through the territory of 9 provinces.
Upon completion, the project will help reduce the load and prevent overloading of existing 500 kV lines, ensuring the N-1 criterion, especially when transmission capacity is high along the North-Central interface at times when hydropower plants in the North are operating at low levels.
The transmission line also helps improve the transmission stability reserve on the North-Central interface, combined with the 500 kV Quang Trach - Quynh Luu - Thanh Hoa transmission line and the Nam Dinh I Thermal Power Plant - Pho Noi section, contributing to supplementing power from power sources in the North-Central region to the load centers in the Northern region.
The delegation listened to a detailed report on the progress of construction package No. 5 of the 500 kV Nam Dinh I Thermal Power Plant - Thanh Hoa transmission line project.
After conducting a field inspection, EVNNPT Chairman Nguyen Tuan Tung acknowledged and highly appreciated the contractors participating in the project for mobilizing manpower, equipment, and machinery to implement the project.
According to EVNNPT leaders, thanks to the decisive direction of the Government and the Prime Minister, the involvement of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the State Capital Management Committee at enterprises, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, and many other ministries, agencies, and localities, as well as the constant attention of the leaders of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), the project has recently completed all legal procedures to be able to commence construction from the end of October.
A delegation from EVNNPT conducted a field inspection of a foundation site in Ha Trung District (Thanh Hoa Province).
To ensure the project's progress as directed by the Prime Minister and EVN, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of EVNNPT requested that construction contractors, design consultants, supervision consultants, and compensation consultants continue to strengthen their workforce to accelerate compensation and land clearance; construction contractors should focus on commencing construction immediately after land is available. At the same time, they should mobilize maximum resources and give the highest priority to the project to complete it according to the set targets.
A delegation from EVNNPT conducted a field inspection of a foundation site in Ha Trung District (Thanh Hoa Province).
EVNNPT leaders also requested NPMB to proactively coordinate closely with localities in land clearance work, and to urge contractors to start construction immediately upon receiving land; striving to complete the project on schedule and with quality, contributing to ensuring electricity supply for the North in the coming time.
EVNNPT leaders listen to a report on the construction progress of a foundation location in package 5 of the 500 kV Nam Dinh I Thermal Power Plant - Thanh Hoa transmission line project.
At the meeting, representatives from the participating units affirmed that this is a key project aimed at ensuring the country's energy security. Therefore, the contractors will dedicate their efforts and coordinate closely with the investor to ensure construction progress and meet the investor's objectives.
The 500 kV Nam Dinh I Thermal Power Plant - Thanh Hoa transmission line project is owned by EVNNPT. The project management and operation unit is NPMB. The design consultant is the Joint Venture of Power Construction Consulting Company No. 4 and the Institute of Energy. The supervision consultant is Power Construction Consulting Company No. 4. The construction unit (package No. 5) is the Joint Venture of PC1 Group Joint Stock Company and Song Da 11 Joint Stock Company.
