Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has submitted a resignation letter

Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan and two Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee have submitted resignations at the time of the merger of Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan provinces.

On the afternoon of June 24, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ha, Chief of Office of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, confirmed that Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan had submitted a resignation letter at the time of the merger of Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan provinces. Currently, the locality is still waiting for the Central Government's opinion.

In addition, two Vice Chairmen of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Le Huu Hoang and Mr. Dinh Van Thieu, have also submitted resignations and are awaiting comments from the Central Government.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan was born on June 1, 1964, hometown Ninh Hoa town (Khanh Hoa province), has a bachelor's degree in law and politics .

He was a National Assembly delegate of the 11th, 12th and 13th terms, holding positions such as Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; Secretary of Cam Ranh City Party Committee; Head of the Propaganda Department; Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council before being elected Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term in February 2020.

In June 2021, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan was re-elected as Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term.

Mr. Le Huu Hoang was born on August 1, 1967, hometown Ninh Hoa town (Khanh Hoa province), has a master's degree in economics.

Before being elected Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee in October 2019, Mr. Hoang held positions such as General Director of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company; Director of the Department of Finance; Chairman of the Board of Members of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest State-owned Company Limited.

Mr. Dinh Van Thieu was born on March 15, 1967, in Dien Khanh district (Khanh Hoa province). He is a bachelor of administration and a civil and industrial construction engineer.

He held positions such as Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Dien Khanh district before being elected Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province in December 2020.

Currently, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has 3 Vice Chairmen: Mr. Le Huu Hoang, Mr. Dinh Van Thieu and Mr. Tran Hoa Nam. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee is Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan.

According to Resolution No. 202/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly, the entire Ninh Thuan province will merge with Khanh Hoa province, forming the new Khanh Hoa province, with an area of ​​8,555.86 km² and a population of more than 2.24 million people.

Along with that, Resolution 1667/NQ-UBTVQH15 decided to rearrange the commune-level administrative units of Khanh Hoa province, establishing 65 new units, including 48 communes, 16 wards and 1 special zone.
