On the afternoon of July 9, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc and the working delegation of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee inspected the operation of the two-level local government apparatus in Phu An Ward, Ho Chi Minh City and worked with a number of communes and wards.

Also in attendance were Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Bui Minh Thanh and leaders of various departments and agencies, and the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Nguyen Van Duoc, inspected the handling of administrative procedures – especially in the fields of land, construction, and business registration, as well as administrative procedures under the jurisdiction of city departments and agencies; and the readiness to accept applications if the procedures fall under the authority of higher levels.

According to the People's Committee of Phu An Ward, the ward was established by merging Tan An Ward, Phu An Commune, and a part of the former Hiep An Ward, with an area of ​​over 36.7 km² and a population of nearly 54,000 people. The ward's Party Committee has 45 grassroots Party organizations with more than 1,000 Party members. The Standing Committee of the Party Committee has proactively reorganized the structure, assigned tasks to cadres, developed working regulations for the 2025-2030 term, and is currently preparing the documents for the ward's Party Congress.

The Phu An Ward Public Administrative Service Center is located at the headquarters of the Phu An Ward Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee (formerly the Hiep An Ward headquarters). From July 1st to the present, the Center has received 414 applications and processed 378 applications.

Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc held discussions with the Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, Lam Dinh Thang.

According to the reporter's observations at the ward's public administrative service center, the center has 11 staff members and 6 counters for receiving and returning administrative procedure results, with a spacious and airy waiting area.

Next, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc and the delegation visited and surveyed the Binh Duong Public Administration Center. Afterwards, they will work with communes and wards on the operational situation after the reorganization of the administrative apparatus and address requests from grassroots leaders.
