Associate Professor Cao Hao Thi - the school's Rector - stated: "From the very beginning of the school's establishment (in 1997), the founders and the Board of Directors have oriented the development of STU into a high-quality university. Ensuring and improving the quality of education has been and will continue to be a central focus in the school's operations."

The undergraduate Civil Engineering program at STU was evaluated according to the educational quality standards issued by the Minister of Education and Training ( MOET ), comprising 11 standards and 50 criteria. The evaluation results showed that 45 out of 50 criteria met the requirements (90%). Based on this, on April 7, 2023, CEA VNU-HCM signed a Decision recognizing the undergraduate Civil Engineering program at Saigon Technology University as meeting the educational quality standards issued by the Minister of Education and Training.

STU consistently conducts self-assessments and quality assurance in its education system to improve training quality and better serve its students. Receiving accreditation is a recognition of the positive results of the school's organization, management, and training quality.
