Special art program to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital

The Hanoi People's Committee has signed and issued a plan to organize a special art program to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).

The program was organized to review the heroic history of the people of Hanoi and the country; spread the great significance of the Capital Liberation Day, create a joyful and exciting atmosphere for a large number of cadres, party members of all walks of life, and armed forces in the city and the whole country.

In addition, the program also aims to propagate and promote the thousand-year-old culture of the glorious, heroic, peaceful and friendly historical tradition of Thang Long - Hanoi to the people; at the same time, strengthen the introduction and promotion of the image and position of the Capital to domestic localities and international friends, the City of Culture - Civilization - Modernity - City for Peace - Creativity - Convergence - Crystallization - Spread.

The program is organized by the Hanoi City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. The implementing agency is the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports .

The City People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture and Sports to provide overall advice and organize the implementation of the program's contents; be responsible for the content, script, and implementation progress; organize joint training, preliminary review, and final rehearsal of the program to ensure quality, effectiveness, and compliance with regulations. Establish a professional advisory council and management teams to closely monitor each task and each part of the program's implementation content to ensure meaning, practicality, and compliance with the approved script.

The Hanoi Capital Command coordinated to license drones for filming and performing light art; coordinated with the City Police in ensuring absolute safety, security and order; presided over the implementation of high-altitude fireworks combined with low-altitude fireworks and pyrotechnics to ensure unity, continuity, and create jubilation and excitement at the end of the program.

The City Police Department shall take the lead in developing a plan to ensure absolute security, order and traffic safety; develop a plan for absolute security, safety, fire and explosion prevention in the venue; coordinate with the Department of Transport to organize traffic flow to ensure order and traffic safety on the roads and streets surrounding My Dinh National Stadium.

The People's Committee of Nam Tu Liem District proactively develops plans for parking lots, directs the installation of public toilets, organizes waste collection, and cleans the environment before, during, and after the event at My Dinh National Stadium and neighboring areas; coordinates with the City Police, the Capital Command, and city departments and branches to implement plans to ensure that conditions for security, social order and safety, health, and fire and explosion prevention and fighting are met according to the law so that the event can take place successfully.

The special art program to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital will take place at 8:00 p.m. on October 10, 2024 at My Dinh National Stadium with an expected capacity of about 25,000 people, with the theme "Hanoi - City of Peace - City of Flying Dragons". The program will be broadcast live on VTV channel, Vietnam Television./.
