Hanoi Club enters top 3, Binh Duong 'suffers' again at Hang Day

The match against Hanoi FC marks Binh Duong FC's third away game at Hang Day Stadium, after only eight matches this season. Despite conceding a dangerous header that hit the post, Hanoi FC, with their superior squad and cohesive play, maintained control of the game.

With Pham Tuan Hai, Nguyen Van Quyet, Nguyen Hai Long, and Joao Pedro in attack, Hanoi FC consistently exploited the gaps behind Binh Duong's defense.

Hanoi FC's pressure was evident in Hai Long's goal in the 26th minute. After a one-two pass with a teammate, Van Quyet dribbled straight into the Binh Duong penalty area, then threaded a pass to Hai Long, who was one-on-one with the goalkeeper. From a tight angle, Hai Long chose to curl the ball past goalkeeper Tran Minh Toan to open the scoring.

The back-and-forth battle between the two teams was exciting until the very last minutes. Starting in place of Nguyen Van Hoang, goalkeeper Van Chuan played steadily and flawlessly. The Hanoi goalkeeper made an excellent save in the 85th minute, helping his team successfully defend their one-goal lead against Binh Duong.

With a 1-0 victory, Hanoi FC ended their four-match draw streak to temporarily move up to third place with 13 points after eight matches. Meanwhile, with their third consecutive defeat at Hang Day Stadium, Binh Duong FC is in seventh place with 11 points. It is highly likely that Coach Hoang Anh Tuan's team will drop down the rankings this round as the teams below them will be playing in the next two days.
