On the morning of September 4, the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee organized the awarding of decisions to reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in 2023 and announced decisions to reorganize the apparatus of the Propaganda Department of the City Party Committee, and awarded decisions on cadres.
Attending the program were comrades: Phan Nguyen Nhu Khue, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Le Hong Son, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Tang Huu Phong, Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
At the program, the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee announced the decision to reorganize the apparatus and awarded decisions on cadres.
Specifically, the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee decided to adjust the functions and tasks of the Science and Education Department; adjust the functions and tasks of the Political Theory - Party History Department; and reorganize the Press - Publishing Department into the Propaganda - Press - Publishing Department.
The Propaganda Department also decided to reorganize the Propaganda - Social Opinion Research Department into the Information - Synthesis - Social Opinion Department; reorganize the Administration - Synthesis Department into the Office of the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; reorganize the Department of Culture and Arts into the Department of Culture and Arts.
Leaders of the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee have awarded decisions on appointing leaders of departments under the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
Speaking at the assignment, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Phan Nguyen Nhu Khue emphasized that the reorganization of the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee this time has supplemented and linked the functions and tasks of a number of affiliated departments to meet the requirements of new tasks.
Comrade Phan Nguyen Nhu Khue requested the Office of the City Party Committee's Propaganda Department and related departments to continue reviewing and advising the department's leaders to complete the job position project to have steps to receive cadres, gradually perfecting the organization of the agency. He believes that the collective of cadres and experts of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Propaganda Department will strive to overcome difficulties and achieve many results in the coming time.
On this occasion, 3 collectives were honored to receive the title of Excellent Labor Collective in 2023 (Department of Science and Education, Department of Propaganda - Social Opinion Research, Department of Culture and Arts); 1 collective and 7 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee for their achievements in work for 2 consecutive years (2022, 2023), actively contributing to the emulation movement of Ho Chi Minh City.
