AFP reported on November 4th that Eric Trump, son of former US President Donald Trump, had just concluded a two-day court appearance in New York State in a civil lawsuit alleging business fraud by his family's Trump Organization.
Eric Trump said his father "will definitely be here" for the trial on November 6: "I know he's really looking forward to coming here. And he thinks this is one of the most unbelievable injustices he's ever seen."
This is expected to be the first time Trump has given testimony in public, in all the civil and criminal trials he is currently facing.

Leaving the courtroom in Manhattan on November 3, Eric Trump condemned the case as "a huge waste of taxpayer money."
"We did absolutely nothing wrong. We have a company that's better than they could ever imagine," he asserted.
Eric (39 years old) and his brother Donald Trump Jr. (46 years old) are vice presidents of the Trump Organization, a conglomerate that manages residential buildings, office towers, luxury hotels, and golf courses around the world .
The conglomerate is accused of inflating the value of billions of dollars worth of assets to gain advantages in borrowing money and purchasing insurance. Trump and his sons do not face jail time in this case, but they face fines of up to $250 million and the possibility of being forced out of the family business.
