Quang Nam Police opens ethnic knowledge training class | QUANG NAM ONLINE NEWSPAPER

(QNO) - On June 26, Quang Nam Provincial Police held the opening ceremony of the ethnic knowledge training class for subject 4 in 2023.

The class was attended by more than 300 students who are local police officers and soldiers.

Students will study the contents of an overview of ethnic minorities in Vietnam; the Party's viewpoints, policies and guidelines on ethnic issues and ethnic work; the State's laws and policies on socio -economic development of ethnic minority areas.

The training course also covered knowledge on building a grassroots political system in ethnic minority areas; State management of ethnic minority culture; national defense and security work in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; and discussions on ethnic issues and ethnic work at the grassroots level.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Vo Thi Trinh - Deputy Director of Quang Nam Provincial Police emphasized that training in ethnic knowledge is extremely necessary. Thereby, helping officers and soldiers improve their understanding of the ethnic policies of the Party and State, effectively promoting propaganda work, mass mobilization work and mobilizing ethnic minorities to join hands with the police force to participate in the fight against crime, ensuring security and order at the grassroots level to create stability for socio-economic development of the province.
