Chau Thanh Commune Police caught a subject red-handed illegally storing drugs.

On August 17, Chau Thanh Commune Police (An Giang Province) said that while patrolling to ensure security and order, they caught a subject in the act of illegally possessing drugs.

Previously, on National Highway 61, in Minh Phu quarter, Chau Thanh commune ( An Giang province), Chau Thanh commune police caught HVC (born in 1999, residing in An Thoi hamlet, Binh An commune) illegally possessing drugs.

At the scene, police seized a piece of plastic pipe measuring 2.7cm x 1.1cm, containing many solid, heterogeneous crystalline particles suspected to be drugs.

Through initial investigation, HVC admitted that the crystals were methamphetamine. Chau Thanh Commune Police have released the suspect from custody and are continuing to investigate and handle him according to regulations.
