Announcing 14 OCOP products meeting 4-star standards

After two days (August 6 and 7) of evaluation and classification, the Provincial OCOP Council announced the products that met the provincial OCOP standards in the second phase of 2023.

Mr. Nguyen Van Ha - Deputy Director of Department of Agriculture and Rural Development approved the assessment results.

After reviewing and evaluating the profiles of 25 products of 8 entities in 4 localities (Buon Ma Thuot City, Buon Ho Town, Krong Ana and Krong Pac districts), the Provincial OCOP Council selected 14 products to rank as 4-star OCOP products.

There are 7 products of Thanh Dung Company Limited (Krong Pac district) that meet 4-star standards.

In which, there are 7 products of Thanh Dung Company Limited (Krong Pac district) including: Thang Hoa dried bird's nest, Saffron bird's nest, Bird's nest with rock sugar and lotus seeds, Bird's nest with rock sugar, Bird's nest with rock sugar and chia seeds, Bird's nest with cordyceps, Bird's nest with diet sugar; Krong Pac Green Agriculture Cooperative (Krong Pac district) has a product of frozen Dona durian; 4 products of Dak Lak Maca Company Limited (Buon Ho town) including: Cracked macadamia nuts, Macadamia kernels, Macadamia kernels with durian, Dried durian; 2 products of Nam Truong Son Cacao Company Limited (Krong Ana district) are Pure cocoa powder and Macadamia chocolate (macala).

This result will be submitted by the Provincial OCOP Council to the Provincial People's Committee for approval and a decision will be made to recognize 4-star OCOP products for the subjects.

Ocop subjects attended the announcement of the evaluation and classification results of the Council.

Currently, Dak Lak has 240 OCOP products reaching 3 - 4 stars, including 3 potential 5-star products, 28 4-star products, 25 potential 4-star products and 184 3-star products.

The OCOP program is increasingly attracting more and more voluntary participants, creating momentum for the strong development of the rural economy , contributing to increasing the value of regional products as well as raising income for rural residents.
