Truong Sa District Trade Union held a congress for the 2023-2028 term

According to the report presented at the congress, during the past term (2018-2023), the Truong Sa District Trade Union promptly grasped and addressed the ideological situation, employment, living conditions, and aspirations of its members.

At the same time, trade unions at all levels have done a good job coordinating with agencies and units to organize inspections and monitoring of the implementation of policies and laws related to the rights and obligations of workers.

The welfare of workers is always a priority through programs such as "Tet Reunion" and "Spring on Distant Islands," contributing to motivating officials, employees, and workers throughout the district to work with peace of mind and firmly protect the sovereignty of the Truong Sa archipelago of the Fatherland.

During the term, 6 collectives and 10 individual members of the district's trade union received commendations from the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor and the Truong Sa District People's Committee.

With the motto "Innovation, democracy, solidarity, responsibility," the Truong Sa District Trade Union has identified seven tasks for the 2023-2028 term.

This includes focusing on strengthening propaganda and education work, contributing to building a team of cadres and union members with firm political convictions, professional and political qualifications to meet the requirements of the tasks in the new situation; having a scientific working style, and a healthy moral character and lifestyle;

In addition, we will do a good job of mobilizing cadres and union members to actively study and improve their educational and professional qualifications; strive for 100% of outstanding union members to be admitted into the Communist Party of Vietnam; 100% of female union members to be recognized as "two-excellent women"; and ensure that 100% of grassroots trade unions successfully complete their tasks annually.

The Congress elected the District Trade Union Executive Committee for the 2023-2028 term and the delegation to attend the 11th Congress of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, 2023-2028 term.
