Conference to review work for gender progress and equality of Son La PC in the period 2021-2024.

Son La Power Company currently has nearly 200 female staff, workers, and laborers, living in 9 women's groups. Every year, the Company issues plans and implements activities for women's advancement and gender equality, focusing on building a safe, respectful, and prejudice-free working environment. Focus on implementing gender equality policies within the unit. Encourage male staff and workers to share housework, accompany women in work and life; aim to build a humane, progressive EVN corporate culture and spread the image of Son La electricians as responsible, caring, and dedicated.

Ms. Le Thi Song Hao, Deputy Director of Son La Power Company, said: The company regularly promotes the meaning of progress and gender equality through specialized meetings, integrated into internal meetings, briefings, conferences and training programs. Units have proactively organized specialized activities, group discussions, and propaganda on electronic screens, internal Zalo groups, websites and fanpages... spreading positive messages about gender equality and the safety of women and girls in both the workplace and digital life. Thereby, helping female employees understand their roles, thereby having more motivation to study, work and contribute.

Last November, the month of action for gender equality, prevention and response to gender-based violence in 2025, was an opportunity for each employee of Son La Power Company to look back and act together for a safe and humane working environment. In addition, the Company also held a conference to summarize progress and gender equality in the period of 2021-2024 and regularly organized movement activities, exchanges and propaganda on gender equality, raising awareness and responsibility of officers and employees in implementing gender equality in the workplace. Every year, the Company organizes well programs such as "Vietnamese Women's Day October 20", "International Women's Day March 8", emulation activities "Good at public work, good at housework" to take care of the material and spiritual life of female employees, visit families in difficult circumstances and reward children with high achievements in studying...

The company also takes care of the health of female employees, ensuring that 100% of them receive specialist examinations during regular health check-ups and access to modern medical services. The working environment at PC Son La is recognized as equal, where female employees are respected and given favorable conditions for development, encouraged to participate in political and social activities, arranged suitable jobs, participate in short-term training courses and promote initiatives at work. Many female individuals and groups have become bright spots in the emulation movement and work. Typical examples include: Ms. Le Thi Song Hao, Deputy Director of the Company; Ms. Nguyen Le Huong, Head of Organization and Human Resources Department; Ms. Du Thi Thanh Thao, Deputy Head of Sales Department; Ms. Hoang Thi Loan, Head of Mobile Operation Team of 110kV Thuan Chau Transformer Station, and many other women have always been pioneers in initiatives to improve customer service processes, supporting many female colleagues in digital transformation; is a role model of exemplary conduct, dedication and responsibility, contributing to affirming the role, intelligence and mettle of women in the digital transformation period of the Electricity industry.

Many innovation and improvement groups have had the participation of female engineers with good expertise, mastering technology, making important contributions to the production, business, and safe and stable operation of the Son La province's power system. Many women have achieved the title "Good at public work - good at housework", and are also key factors in communication work to raise awareness of gender equality in the Company. In the period of 2021-2025, 7 collectives and 9 individuals were commended by the Northern Power Corporation Trade Union; the Company's Trade Union commended 3 collectives and 39 individuals in the movement "Good at public work, good at housework".

With the attention of the Board of Directors and the efforts of all employees, Son La Power Company continues to affirm its commitment to promoting gender equality, building a strong team, creating a foundation for sustainable development in the digital transformation period.
