New jobs will emerge in Vietnam.
According to the report, Vietnam is entering a period of strong development with the boom of the digital economy and digital transformation, creating many new job opportunities in fields such as information technology, finance and banking, manufacturing, and logistics.
Demand for manpower in several industries is increasing, yet they still face a shortage of high-quality labor. In particular, positions such as data scientist, AI researcher, machine learning engineer, and data researcher are becoming more important than ever.
Furthermore, the logistics industry in Vietnam is facing a shortage of personnel, particularly in the maritime and warehousing sectors, while the semiconductor industry is thriving thanks to policies attracting investment and training high-quality human resources.
Skills need to be improved.
Navigos Group leaders believe that in order to be well-prepared when the market economy stabilizes and develops again, as well as to meet the recruitment requirements of the new era, workers need to improve their skills, especially in fields related to AI, data, and digital technology.
In addition, foreign languages should be emphasized, with English, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese being a significant advantage when working at multinational companies; adapting to new work models, including the ability to work independently, manage time, and communicate online, will be crucial.
