Da Nang calls for investment in Hoa Vang district urban area

The urban area of Hoa Vang district is calling for investment with a total planning area of more than 229 hectares. Da Nang city will organize bidding for projects using land.

Mr. To Van Hung - Secretary of Hoa Vang district said that the district has completed the contents to report and propose policies to call for investment to implement the Hoa Vang District Urban Area project, in the form of bidding for projects using land.

“We propose to implement a project with a scale of about 189 hectares, calling for the entire center to only have one project. This has been analyzed and evaluated with many approaches. The district's viewpoint is to want to implement one project,” Mr. Hung informed.

Hoa Vang district urban area is one of many key and dynamic projects calling for investment in Hoa Vang district.

The construction planning of Hoa Vang district meets the criteria of a type IV urban area.

According to information announced by Hoa Vang district, the Urban Sub-zone Planning Project of Hoa Vang district town TL 1/2000 has been approved by the People's Committee of Da Nang city with a planning area of 229.1 hectares.

Of which, the housing group has an area of 65.4 hectares,education has an area of 13.6 hectares, culture has an area of 13.7 hectares, service land has an area of 17.4 hectares, transportation has an area of 56 hectares..., the rest is land used for other purposes.

The planning area belongs to part of the villages: Cam Toai Trung, Duong Lam 1, Duong Lam 2, Tuy Loan Tay 1 and Tuy Loan Dong 2 of Hoa Phong commune. The planning location is in the Hillside Area of the Development Reserve subdivision.

The population size of Hoa Vang district urban area by 2030 will reach about 36,000 people.

Hoa Vang district urban area is the administrative center of the district, the gateway connecting the northwestern districts of Quang Nam province and the Central Highlands provinces; is a multi-sector economic sub-center, prioritizing the development of trade and support services for high-tech agricultural areas, regional trade, service and tourism centers as a driving force for urban development in the western part of the city.

There are 3 functional areas in the planning area. Of which, the Administrative Functional Area has an area of about 42.3 hectares and a population of about 3,100 people. Its nature is a political and administrative center.

Residential Unit 2 has an area of approximately 110.9 hectares. This area consists of groups of high-rise buildings, villas, and townhouses organized around the central park.

Residential unit 3 has an area of about 75.8 hectares. It includes groups of high-rise social housing and villas, squares and cultural and sports complexes, commercial and service areas serving the promotion of agricultural products, food, technology transfer, and connection with agricultural production areas to the west of the area.

Hoa Vang district calls for investment in the planning area with an area of about 163 hectares (after deducting the area of projects that have been and are being invested in construction, projects oriented to use the state budget) to synchronously connect the technical infrastructure system and social infrastructure in the area. Regarding the method of calling for investment, there will be bidding for projects using land.
