Da Nang reopens helicopter tours to see the city

(Dan Tri) - After 2 years of suspension, Da Nang city has officially reopened its air tourism service with helicopter tours to see the city.

On July 3, a representative of the Northern Helicopter Company said that the aerial tourism service with sightseeing helicopter tours operated by the company has resumed operations after a 2-year suspension.

This operation started on July 2. The helicopter type put into operation is the EC 155B1 manufactured by Airbus Helicopters in France, has 2 engines, and can carry 10-12 passengers.

Visitors can book tickets for 2 tours to fly over the prominent symbols of Da Nang city and the Central region.

In which, the basic tour, 10-minute flight, departs from Nuoc Man airport, flies along Han River - Linh Ung Pagoda - Son Tra Peninsula - My Khe Beach then returns to the airport. Price is only nearly 3 million VND/person.

Premium tour, 20-minute flight, departs from Nuoc Man airport, flies along Han River - Linh Ung Pagoda - Son Tra Peninsula - My Khe Beach then flies to Hoi An and returns to the airport. Price is nearly 6 million VND/person.

The company also designs flight tours according to customers' requests, with flights from Nuoc Man airport to Cu Lao Cham, Ly Son, My Son Sanctuary, Hue city...

The sightseeing helicopter tour operated by the Northern Helicopter Company was opened in February 2015 and then stopped due to Covid-19.

In 2022, the company reorganized the tour, then paused it again for some reasons.
