The consortium of Van Phu Real Estate Development Joint Stock Company (Van Phu Invest) - MIK Group Joint Stock Company (MIK Group) Vietnam and Dai Quang Minh Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company (Dai Quang Minh) recently sent a document to the Hanoi People's Committee and relevant agencies proposing to invest in the Red River Landscape Avenue Axis project (Hanoi). This is a large infrastructure - urban super project in the North of Hanoi.
In this document, many people in the business community were surprised to see that the person who signed the proposal document was Mr. Tran Dang Khoa in his role as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dai Quang Minh Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company. This position was once held by Mr. Tran Ba Duong, Chairman of Thaco Group.
Mr. Tran Dang Khoa, born in 1970, is a rather secretive tycoon, known by the nickname "Khoa khan". In the Hanoi investment community, he is also known as "Khoa Keangnam", when he cooperated with Keangnam Vina, the investor of the Keangnam Landmark tower.
After more than 10 years of "absence", his sudden reappearance at Dai Quang Minh as Chairman of the Board of Directors has caused a stir in the investor community.
