Attending and directing the Congress were Comrade Nguyen Hai - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of Lam Thao district; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department and the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department; leaders of the Fatherland Front Committees of districts, cities, and towns; and 153 delegates representing all strata of people in the district.

During the 2019-2024 term, the Fatherland Front of Lam Thao district focused on leading and directing efforts to achieve and surpass all 8 targets set forth in the Congress Resolution. Annually, the Fatherland Front and other political and social organizations at the district level consistently achieved a "good" rating or higher; over 90% of the People's Inspection Committees and Community Investment Monitoring Committees operated effectively; and 100% of residential areas successfully organized the National Unity Day. The Fatherland Front at all levels coordinated the dissemination of information and mobilized the people to voluntarily contribute over 420 billion VND, along with state resources, to build and complete the criteria for advanced and model new rural communes and civilized urban areas in the district. The "For the Poor" Fund at all levels mobilized support for building new solidarity houses, repairing dilapidated houses; giving Tet gifts to poor and near-poor households; and donating bicycles to poor students who overcame difficulties...
This has significantly contributed to achieving sustainable poverty reduction goals and social welfare in the area. In 2023, the rate of culturally advanced residential areas reached 97.5%; the rate of culturally advanced households reached 98%; and the poverty rate decreased to 1.71%. To date, Lam Thao district has 10 out of 10 communes meeting the standards of New Rural Area; 5 communes have achieved advanced New Rural Area status; and 1 commune has achieved model New Rural Area status (2 communes are currently awaiting recognition as model New Rural Areas by the Provincial People's Committee).

During the 2024-2029 term, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the district strives to annually raise 450 million VND or more for the district's "For the Poor" Fund; and help 25-30 households escape poverty. Each residential area will have at least one exemplary project or specific activity contributing to community development and service; 100% of residential areas in the district will establish and effectively maintain at least one self-governing community group or team.

Delivering a guiding speech at the Congress, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Hai acknowledged, congratulated, and commended the achievements of the Fatherland Front in Lam Thao district, contributing to socio -economic development, new rural construction, and sustainable poverty reduction in the area. He also emphasized: In the coming time, with its great social role and responsibility, the Fatherland Front and its member organizations in Lam Thao district need to continuously innovate the content and methods of their activities; widely gather and unite all strata of the people, promote the strength of the great national unity; use the care for the lives and interests of the people as the guiding principle for their activities, and use the satisfaction of the people as a measure of work results and a way to evaluate cadres.
Focus on strengthening propaganda and raising awareness among cadres, Party members, and the people about the cause of national unity, the position, role, functions, and tasks of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the new period. Pay attention to effectively fulfilling its role and function as an organization representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people; mobilizing the people to actively participate in building the Party and the government... The Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the district needs to continue to innovate the content and methods of its activities towards being close to the grassroots, practical, and effective; at the same time, continue to implement patriotic emulation campaigns and movements, creating strong qualitative changes; actively mobilize resources to support poor households, those with special difficulties, and social security programs in the area.

With a spirit of democracy, solidarity, and high consensus, the Congress elected 45 delegates to the District Fatherland Front Committee for the 26th term. At the first meeting, the District Fatherland Front Committee elected Comrade Nguyen Manh Toan - District Party Committee member, Head of the Finance and Planning Department - to the position of Chairman of the District Fatherland Front Committee for the 26th term, 2024 - 2029.
The Congress also elected 9 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates to attend the 15th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029; adopted the Congress Resolution, the Action Program of the District Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term XXVI, and identified the breakthrough for the term 2024-2029: Continuing to promote the core role of the Fatherland Front and its member organizations in building advanced, model new rural areas and civilized urban areas, striving to build the district to achieve advanced new rural area standards.
