
Attending the Congress were Comrade Pham Van Duc, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province; leaders of the commune, along with 121 exemplary delegates representing various strata of the people and ethnic groups in the area.
Nam Dong commune was established by merging Nam Dong and Dak D'rong communes, becoming a new administrative unit with 38 villages and hamlets. After the merger, the activities of the Fatherland Front of the commune and its member organizations quickly stabilized, adapting to new tasks, actively innovating working methods, and attracting the active participation of officials, Party members, and the people.
During the past term, the Fatherland Front of the commune proactively innovated its propaganda work, effectively implemented social supervision and criticism activities, and carried out patriotic emulation campaigns and movements. The entire commune organized 33 meetings with voters and representatives of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, receiving hundreds of opinions and suggestions from the people, most of which have been satisfactorily resolved. Currently, the commune has 38 mediation teams with nearly 300 members, the annual rate of culturally exemplary families reaches 92%, and 100% of villages and hamlets achieve the title of culturally exemplary village/hamlet.

The Fatherland Front Committee of the commune mobilized the people to donate over 20,000 square meters of land, trees, and crops, and contributed thousands of man-days of labor to build rural roads, welfare facilities, and village halls. The "For the Poor" fund raised over 1 billion VND, supporting the construction and repair of 10 solidarity houses with a total value of 665 million VND. In addition, the Fatherland Front Committee of the commune also mobilized donations of 464 million VND to support the northern provinces in overcoming the consequences of typhoon No. 3.
In his address to the Congress, Comrade Pham Van Duc commended the achievements of the Fatherland Front of Nam Dong commune in the past period, and at the same time requested the Fatherland Front at all levels to continue to promote its role in representing, gathering, and promptly reflecting the opinions and suggestions of the people; strengthen supervision and coordinate with the government to implement emulation movements, apply information technology and digital transformation to the work of the Fatherland Front, and care for and protect the legitimate rights of the people according to the motto "Where there are people, there is the Fatherland Front".

At the Congress, delegates elected 69 members to the Nam Dong Commune Fatherland Front Committee, term 2025-2030; and elected 2 official delegates to attend the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Dong Province. Comrade Cao Van Thuan was entrusted with the position of Chairman of the Commune Fatherland Front Committee, along with 4 Vice-Chairmen.
With the theme "Unity - Democracy - Innovation - Development," the Congress calls on all people and ethnic groups in the commune to continue to uphold the tradition of unity, self-reliance, and self-improvement, working together with the Party Committee, government, and Fatherland Front of the commune to implement patriotic emulation campaigns and movements, contributing to building Nam Dong commune into an increasingly developed, civilized, and prosperous place.
