The 10th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ninh Son district, term 2024-2029

On April 26th, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Son district held its 10th Congress of Delegates for the 2024-2029 term. This unit was selected by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province as the model district-level congress for the province. Attending the event was Comrade Le Van Binh, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province.

During the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ninh Son district, under the leadership of the Party Committee, closely coordinated with the government and member organizations to innovate, create, and make breakthroughs, overcoming difficulties and challenges, and mobilizing all strata of people to effectively participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns; successfully completing tasks and exceeding the set targets and objectives. Notably, it built and replicated many effective self-governance models in security and order, traffic safety, crime prevention, environmental protection, and models of mutual assistance for economic development and sustainable poverty alleviation; it coordinated with the people and businesses to contribute 17.4 billion VND, donate 5,600 m2 of land, and, together with the State, concreted 3,950 m of rural roads, more than 20 km of drainage ditches in residential areas, and 1,450 m of irrigation canals in the fields. The "For the Poor" Fund raised 5.57 trillion VND, and from this fund, along with social contributions, 287 solidarity houses were built; the "Gratitude and Repayment" Fund raised 1.35 trillion VND, enabling the construction and repair of 27 houses for needy families; 61 out of 61 villages and neighborhoods were recognized as cultural villages and neighborhoods; on average, 98-100% of agencies, units, and businesses achieved cultural standards annually...

With the theme "Unity - Democracy - Innovation - Development," for the 2024-2029 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Son district has set several specific goals such as: Over 80% of residential areas will implement at least one sustainable poverty reduction livelihood model and one model of people's self-governance in environmental protection, rural transportation, civilized streets, security and order, traffic safety, and education promotion; 100% of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at the commune level and the Front Working Committees at the village and neighborhood levels will successfully complete their tasks, with 20% achieving outstanding performance; 100% of agencies, units, and localities will implement the "Unity, Creativity" emulation movement and have initiatives proposed for evaluation and recognition at all levels.

Speaking at the congress, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province commended the achievements of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, its member organizations, and the people of Ninh Son district during the past term. He also requested that in the next term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ninh Son district and its member organizations continue to closely adhere to the political tasks of the district Party Committee to coordinate unified action; implement comprehensively, decisively, and effectively the seven groups of solutions outlined in the resolution, in accordance with the specific conditions of the locality. They should continue to innovate in thinking and working methods, and in propaganda and mobilization of the people in a comprehensive, focused, and practical manner, improving the quality and effectiveness of patriotic emulation movements and campaigns. In particular, attention should be paid to effectively implementing two new initiatives: the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" launched by the Prime Minister, and the 6th Action Program "Building self-governing, united, prosperous, and happy residential areas"; effectively fulfilling the role of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people, acting as a bridge between the Party's and government's will and the people; and resolutely building a team of Front cadres at all levels in the district with sufficient qualities, capabilities, creativity, dedication, responsibility, excellent mass mobilization skills, courage, and a desire to contribute to meet the requirements of the assigned tasks.

The Congress elected 55 delegates to serve as members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Son district, term X, 2024-2029. Mr. Truong Thanh Quyen was re-elected to continue serving as Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Son district.
