On the afternoon of February 20th, the Vietnam Youth Union of Xuan Hoa commune (Nhu Xuan district) successfully held its 5th Congress of Delegates for the 2024-2029 term. This was a model congress organized by the Vietnam Youth Union of Nhu Xuan district.

Attending the congress were leaders of the District Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union of Nhu Xuan district; leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Xuan Hoa commune, along with 52 official delegates.
During the 2019-2024 term, the Vietnam Youth Union Committee of Xuan Hoa commune proactively innovated its methods of propaganda to ensure that young people fully grasp information about the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and regulations; and to promote the spirit of respect for the law.
The Committee has mobilized its members and young people to participate in volunteer activities for social welfare and environmental protection, with these activities becoming increasingly in-depth. Typical examples include the "Green Sunday" and "Volunteer Saturday" movements, and activities contributing to building a "bright, green, clean, beautiful, and safe" environment.

In addition, the Committee of the Association has strengthened coordination with departments, organizations, and individuals inside and outside the district to organize social welfare activities such as the "Winter Volunteer Program" and the "Spring Volunteer Program"... During the term, the Committee of the Association helped build and repair two houses for policy beneficiary families and families in difficult circumstances in the commune; mobilized more than 1,000 members and young people to participate in volunteer activities and respond to natural disasters and epidemics.
The work of political and ideological education, guiding revolutionary ideals, and promoting moral values and lifestyles among young people has also achieved encouraging results. The majority of young people in the commune demonstrate national pride, love for their homeland, and unwavering trust in the leadership of the Party and the State, actively contributing to the socio-economic, cultural, and political development, as well as ensuring social security and order in the area.
The Executive Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union of Xuan Hoa Commune, term V, was introduced and assumed its duties.
For the 2024-2029 term, the Vietnam Youth Union Committee of Xuan Hoa commune has set the following goals: To build a generation of young people who are patriotic, compassionate, loyal, honest, pioneering, exemplary, united, diligent, and creative in patriotic emulation movements. To encourage young people to compete in learning, entrepreneurship, labor, creativity, mastering modern science and technology, and to effectively promote pioneering and volunteerism in the cause of accelerating industrialization, modernization, and international integration. To continuously innovate the content and methods of activities, improve the quality of organization, and enhance the effectiveness of the Vietnam Youth Union.
At the Congress, delegates elected 11 representatives to the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union of Xuan Hoa Commune, term V, 2024-2029; delegate Vi Van Mai was elected by consensus to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Xuan Hoa Commune, term V. The Congress also elected 5 official delegates to attend the Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Nhu Xuan District, term 2024-2029.
Following the Congress, the Vietnam Youth Union of Nhu Xuan district held a meeting to review and learn from the experience in order to continue organizing successful grassroots-level Youth Union congresses throughout the district in the coming period.
