Previously, the Dak Lak Provincial Asset Auction Center No. 2 successfully auctioned off the right to exploit mineral resources to supply materials for large-scale and important projects such as Bai Goc Port and Hoa Tam Industrial Park.
The winning bidder for the Cay Me quarry (Hoa Xuan commune, Dak Lak province - approximately 60.24 hectares) was Hoa Phat Central Exploitation and Construction Company Limited, and the winning bidder for the Da Rang River construction sand mine (Tay Hoa commune, Dak Lak province - approximately 70.48 hectares) was Phu Yen Mineral and Construction Group Joint Stock Company.
The People's Committee of Dak Lak province has agreed on the principle of utilizing existing resettlement areas such as Tho Lam resettlement area (approximately 221 plots), My Hoa resettlement area (approximately 140 plots), and Hoa Tam resettlement area (approximately 267 plots).
In addition, the Phu Yen Economic Zone Management Board prepared a report proposing the investment policy for three resettlement areas combined with residential areas, including: the technical infrastructure project for the resettlement area serving the relocation of households affected by the construction of the South Phu Yen Economic Zone; the technical infrastructure project for the Tho Lam resettlement area; and the technical infrastructure project for the new residential area and the Hoa Tam resettlement area (phase 2).
The People's Committee of Dak Lak province has approved the investment policy and investors for three major projects in the South Phu Yen Economic Zone. These are the project to invest in the construction and operation of infrastructure for Hoa Tam Industrial Park - Phase 1 and the project to invest in the construction of Bai Goc Port by Bai Goc Phu Yen Port Joint Stock Company ( thuộc Hoa Phat Group), and the project to invest in the construction and operation of infrastructure for Phu Yen High-Tech Industrial Park by N&G Group Joint Stock Company.
According to Mr. Ta Anh Tuan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province, these are extremely important projects that create a foundation and have a high ripple effect; opening up many new opportunities to continue attracting large-scale projects to the South Phu Yen Economic Zone.
This area will become a major industrial and seaport center for the South Central and Central Highlands regions; a driving economic zone for Dak Lak province and surrounding areas.
When these projects become operational, they will create a ripple effect, developing the trade and service sectors of Dak Lak province; providing employment for tens of thousands of local workers, contributing to improving people's lives, stabilizing social security, and increasing sustainable budget revenue.
