According to the report of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in 2023 the province is estimated to have welcomed 1,160,000 tourists, reaching 110.48% of the plan, an increase of 16.06% compared to the same period in 2022.

Of these, domestic tourists are estimated at 1,136,460, reaching 109.16% of the plan; international tourists at 30,240, reaching 201.60% of the plan. Total revenue from tourism is estimated at 925 billion VND, reaching 108.82% of the plan, an increase of 10.51% compared to the same period in 2022.

Visitors enjoy musical performances on Phan Dinh Giot Street (Buon Ma Thuot City) as part of the 8th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival.

In 2023, Dak Lak organized many programs and festivals to promote the image of Dak Lak tourism to domestic and international tourists and communities, such as: the 8th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival, the Gong Culture Performance Program for the people and tourists, the off-road racing "Challenge to conquer the great mountains - Buon Don 2023", the "Dak Lak Province Ethnic Culture Festival 2023", etc.

In addition, during the year, Dak Lak also co-hosted regional and national sports events, such as: Stages 2 and 3 of the 2023 Binh Duong Television International Cycling Race - Cup Number 1, the 35th Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup Cycling Race - 2023 "One Unified Nation", the 2023 National Strong Teams Boxing Championship, the National Team Tennis Championship... thereby attracting a large number of tourists to Dak Lak.

In addition, Dak Lak's tourism industry has implemented policies and measures to stimulate tourism demand, boosted promotional activities, and expanded the tourist market; strengthened inspection of compliance with regulations in tourism business activities at tourist areas, attractions, and accommodation establishments; and built a friendly and hospitable image of Dak Lak tourism to attract domestic and international tourists.
