Pleiku Ward was established by merging five units: Hoa Lu, Tay Son, Hoi Thuong, Phu Dong, and Tra Da. Currently, the ward's Party Committee has 75 grassroots Party organizations with over 3,200 Party members.
At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee provided information on the socio -economic development and national defense and security situation after two months of operating the two-tiered local government model.
Accordingly, total state budget revenue under the decentralized system reached VND 141.38 billion (174.6% of the plan); the Public Administrative Service Center received 7,682 applications and resolved 7,063 applications (reaching 92%); the rate of people participating in health insurance reached 90.84%. Social welfare work was given attention with 559 social assistance applications received and 524 applications resolved. Security, order, health, and primary healthcare for the people were ensured.

In Party building work, the ward admitted 4 new Party members, awarded Party badges to 53 Party members, renewed Party membership cards for nearly 3,000 comrades (reaching 95%), and reorganized several Party branch committees. Urban beautification activities and maintenance of key roads were regularly implemented.
The conference recorded 17 opinions from grassroots levels on administrative reform, subsidy schemes, urban beautification, environmental sanitation, socio-economic development, infrastructure maintenance, ensuring security and order, and public health care... All opinions were practical and reflected the sense of responsibility and dedication of the grassroots officials.

Concluding the conference, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Phuoc, Provincial Party Committee member, Party Secretary, and Chairman of the People's Council of Pleiku Ward, commended the efforts and contributions of the grassroots officials. The Party Secretary of Pleiku Ward emphasized: Each official needs to continue to uphold a sense of responsibility, stay close to the people, listen to the people, and promptly resolve emerging issues; maintain national unity, and promote community strength. The grassroots officials must be a reliable bridge between the Party, the government, and the people, contributing to building Pleiku Ward into a model and key ward of the province in the future.
