On the afternoon of December 4th, a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement between the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City and Hue University took place in Hue City (Thua Thien Hue province).
Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Vu Hai Quan, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Chairman of the University Council, and Director of the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, highly appreciated the development of Hue University through hundreds of scientific research articles in international journals, along with its increasingly strong team of staff and lecturers.
Associate Professor Dr. Vu Hai Quan delivered a speech at the ceremony.
Associate Professor Vu Hai Quan affirmed that the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City is always ready to share facilities and resources for research, cooperate in entrepreneurship and innovation activities. At the same time, it will share experiences in university management, system development, digital transformation, etc., to support Hue University, especially as Hue University strives to become a national university.
Mr. Quan believes that the two units should cooperate to leverage the potential and strengths of each side to jointly carry out national strategic tasks and regional development tasks of the country in training high-quality human resources, conducting scientific research, and developing technology...
At the signing ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Le Anh Phuong, Director of Hue University, expressed his hope that this would be a "catalyst" for the two institutions to develop together and contribute significant achievements to the Vietnamese education system in the future.
The Director of Hue University and the Director of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City signed a cooperation agreement.
The cooperation agreement signed between Hue University and Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City focuses on university administration, training, scientific research, and technology transfer.
The two sides cooperate in the field of training through the exchange of lecturers, supervision of doctoral and master's students, and participation in doctoral and master's thesis defense committees; sharing undergraduate and postgraduate training programs, and moving towards mutual credit recognition. Simultaneously, they participate in international training programs, student exchanges; and training and developing human resources in professional and technical skills.
Following the signing of the agreement, Hue University and Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City will create opportunities for researchers, lecturers, and students from each side to interact, learn, and share experiences; coordinate in building inter-university research groups, and eventually cooperate in establishing national research groups…
