The strengths of messy people in the family are not known to everyone.

Social Studies - You shouldn't rush to judge people who live in a messy environment, because they have hidden characteristics and strengths that make them stand out.

Many people believe that everything in life must be neat and clean in order to achieve success and progress. Those who lead messy lives are seen as neglecting themselves, and this is very difficult to accept.

However, few people realize that the strengths of messy people are often hidden within them. Therefore, don't rush to judge someone with an untidy lifestyle; instead, carefully observe the reasons behind their behavior to discover the strengths they possess.

Good memory

Organized people follow a certain system and put everything in its proper place, so they don't have to remember everything.

Meanwhile, messy people have a very unique way of storing things, so they tend to remember exactly where they keep important items, whether at home or at work.

The most important thing when working with or living with a messy person is never to clean up their space yourself. It can disrupt their train of thought or mess up their memory of where things are.

If you're bothered by the mess that's piling up, gently let them know so they can rearrange things according to their own thinking.

Creative genius

To conduct their research, the University of Minnesota (USA) asked both messy and clean people about how to recycle ping-pong balls.

The results were surprising, as those who lived in cluttered conditions came up with creative and groundbreaking answers and ideas.

Furthermore, many researchers have found that spontaneity, creativity, and innovation rarely appear in clean spaces.

That's also why so many creative geniuses work in cluttered labs and messy studios.

For this group of people, it's not simply chaos, but a source of inspiration for discovering new inventions or creating great works of art.

Chaos allows for the creation of connecting threads between things, ultimately leading to the next great idea.

Optimistic

Messy people tend to have a more positive outlook on life and the future.

They believe they can achieve anything if they focus on it, so they tend to be busier pursuing their dreams and pay less attention to the chaos in their current environment.

Messy people are happy with what they do, so they don't focus much on the environment they live in.

Presenting a unique organizational approach.

Messy people may not know how to organize things neatly, but they actually have good organizational skills and methods to keep everything in the right place.

In reality, these people always know exactly what they're targeting and get it in the shortest amount of time.

Most artists, scientists , inventors, and writers work in cluttered spaces. But this doesn't mean they're lazy.

In that chaotic space, everything follows its own rules, and the room's owner will find their own way to handle it.

Live bravely and flexibly.

Because messy people thrive in chaos and disorder, they also react better to whatever happens in life.

Unlike those who throw tantrums when things get messy, disorganized people aren't easily intimidated by change. They're much better at navigating chaotic situations.

Their spontaneity, courage, and flexibility allow them to unravel the complexities of their personal lives.

No time wasted on trivial matters.

When you have too many tasks to handle in a day, it's difficult to find the energy and mental capacity to clean.

Setting aside a separate schedule for cleaning can be tiring and frustrating, so messy people choose to ignore the mess instead of stressing about it.

For this group of people, they don't want to pay attention to the trivial activities happening around them.

They will clean things up when they have more time. At the same time, messy people don't fight the chaos they face; they simply accept and give in.

This is considered the reason why this group of people is more relaxed than the rest.

Be more decisive and focused.

In 2001, Steve Whittaker and Julia Hirschberg studied the behavior of "organized" people (who sorted documents immediately) and "messy" people (who left papers piled up on their desks or wherever was convenient).

The results were surprising; researchers found that organized people kept a huge amount of useless documents.

It's common to immediately categorize materials before truly understanding them, knowing where they should be used in the work we're doing, and whether or not we should keep them.

When a regulation is implemented that forces these people to get rid of some unnecessary paperwork, they feel they have become too attached to it.

They couldn't bring themselves to throw them away, even though they were worthless, simply because they had spent so much time sorting and classifying them.

Meanwhile, those who were messy had more positive results. They were quite decisive in discarding unnecessary materials.

And when they actually have to categorize and organize something, they certainly understand it well. As a result, they end up with neater, more practical, and more useful storage folders.

And the same thing can happen in your life. According to psychologist Marc Wittman, a vacation that is completely unprepared or only poorly prepared often seems longer and more fulfilling than a vacation where all the decisions have been made beforehand.

Important decisions must be made at the right time, meaning you have to pay more attention to what's happening and thus have a richer memory afterward.
