Colonel Nguyen Trung Dac, Political Commissar of the Dien Bien Provincial Military Command, personally presented awards to 3 collectives and 5 individuals from the Provincial Border Guard Command who had successfully cracked two major cases, DB1125 and DB1225, seizing 96,000 synthetic drug pills, approximately 1.7 kg of heroin, and 1 kg of opium resin. He praised the resourcefulness, creativity, and courage of the individuals in the special task force in their relentless fight against drug crimes.

Colonel Nguyen Trung Dac affirmed: The success of the special task force was due to the timely leadership and guidance of the Party Committee, the Provincial Military Command, the Border Guard Command, and the thorough preparation and close coordination between the professional department and other units. This achievement promptly prevented a large amount of drugs from entering the country through the border area, thereby contributing to maintaining local security and social order, and enhancing the prestige and image of the border guards - the core, specialized force in managing and protecting national border sovereignty .

Previously, from November 27th to December 9th, the Dien Bien Border Guard force successfully cracked two cases; apprehending three suspects and seizing 96,000 synthetic drug pills, approximately 1.7 kg of heroin, and 1 kg of opium resin.
