This was the largest strategic decisive campaign of our army and people, attacking the nerve center and most important forces of the puppet government and army in Saigon - Gia Dinh and surrounding areas, successfully ending the resistance war against the US, saving the nation (1954 - 1975), completely liberating the South, and unifying the country.
Half a century has passed, yet the Ho Chi Minh Campaign remains the pinnacle of victory in the Vietnamese revolutionary war, inscribing the most glorious pages in the history of the Vietnamese nation's resistance against foreign invaders, affirming the great stature of the Vietnamese people's resistance against American imperialism, and leaving behind many valuable theoretical and practical lessons that are still relevant today.
