According to the National Tourism Administration, the country's tourism industry is expected to welcome and serve approximately 5.5 million tourists during the four-day holiday (August 30 - September 2, 2025); an increase of 83.3% compared to the same period in 2024 (approximately 3 million tourists).

With the attraction of the parade, march and art programs and exhibitions during the holidays, Hanoi has become the center of attraction for tourists from many provinces and cities with 2.08 million visitors, 3 times higher than the same period in 2024; of which international visitors are estimated at over 80,000, up 35%; total revenue from tourists is estimated at 4,500 billion VND, up 80%; average room occupancy is estimated at 83%, up 22.6% over the same period in 2024.
In addition, several other localities also welcomed a huge number of visitors during the holiday period. Ho Chi Minh City is estimated to receive 1.45 million visitors, including approximately 45,600 international visitors; Hai Phong is estimated to receive 1.03 million visitors, an 8% increase compared to the same period in 2024, including 29,518 international visitors; Khanh Hoa is estimated to receive 907,952 visitors, a 10.35% increase compared to the same period in 2024; Da Nang is estimated to receive over 620,000 visitors, a 24% increase compared to the same period in 2024, including over 168,000 international visitors; Lam Dong is estimated to receive 590,000 visitors, a 6.8% increase compared to 2024; Gia Lai is estimated to receive 293,750 visitors, with estimated revenue of 623 billion VND.
Also in August, the country served approximately 13 million domestic tourists, bringing the total number of domestic tourists in the first eight months to 106 million.
Total tourism revenue nationwide in 8 months reached about 707 trillion VND.
