The delegation from Vinh Long province paid tribute to the heroic martyrs in Dien Bien.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh The, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, and the delegation offered incense to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at the Martyrs' Memorial Temple in the Dien Bien Phu battlefield.

Joining the delegation from Dien Bien province were: Mr. Lo Van Mung, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; Mr. Lo Van Tien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and leaders of several provincial departments and agencies.

The delegation observed a minute of silence in remembrance of the fallen heroes at the A1 Martyrs' Cemetery.

Visiting the Martyrs' Memorial at the Dien Bien Phu battlefield and the A1 Martyrs' Cemetery, the delegation from Vinh Long province and the leaders of Dien Bien province respectfully laid wreaths, offered incense, and expressed their gratitude and remembrance of General Vo Nguyen Giap, along with the officers, soldiers, youth volunteers, and civilian workers who bravely fought and sacrificed to achieve the victory at Dien Bien Phu.

Before the heroic martyrs, with sincere gratitude, the delegation vows to live, fight and study following the example of the great President Ho Chi Minh , promote the heroic Dien Bien Phu tradition, continue to make efforts with the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people to successfully carry out the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country, and build an increasingly prosperous and strong Vietnam.

The delegation from Vinh Long province visited the Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum.

Next, the Vinh Long Provincial delegation visited the Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum and admired the panoramic painting depicting the Dien Bien Phu campaign.
