Vinh Long province delegation pays tribute to heroic martyrs in Dien Bien

Comrade Nguyen Thanh The, Standing Deputy Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee and the delegation offered incense to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at the Martyrs' Temple at Dien Bien Phu Battlefield.

Joining the delegation from Dien Bien province were comrades: Lo Van Mung, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Lo Van Tien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches.

The delegation observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs at A1 Martyrs Cemetery.

Visiting the Martyrs' Temple at Dien Bien Phu Battlefield and A1 Martyrs' Cemetery, the delegation of Vinh Long province and the leaders of Dien Bien province respectfully laid wreaths, offered incense, respectfully expressed gratitude and commemorated General Vo Nguyen Giap, along with cadres, soldiers, youth volunteers, frontline laborers; soldiers and civilians who fought bravely and sacrificed to create the Dien Bien Phu victory.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh The, Standing Deputy Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee and Comrade Lo Van Tien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee offered incense to the graves of heroic martyrs at A1 Martyrs Cemetery.

Before the heroic martyrs, with sincere gratitude, the delegation vows to live, fight and study following the example of the great President Ho Chi Minh , promote the heroic Dien Bien Phu tradition, continue to make efforts with the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people to successfully carry out the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country, building an increasingly prosperous and strong Vietnam.

Next, the Vinh Long Provincial Delegation visited the Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum and admired the Panorama painting recreating the Dien Bien Phu campaign.
