Delegation of Central Party Committee members planning for XIV term visits Mobile Police Command

Attending the event were: Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duy Bac, Permanent Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy; leaders of the Mobile Police Command, the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy, and the Ministry of Public Security ; and 50 participants in the training course for cadres slated to become members of the 14th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Major General Le Ngoc Chau delivered a speech at the training course for planning officers who visited and studied the unit in practice.

Speaking at the meeting, Major General Le Ngoc Chau, Commander of the Mobile Police Force, stated that Resolution No. 12 dated March 16, 2022, of the Politburo on "promoting the building of a truly clean, strong, regular, elite, and modern People's Police force, meeting the requirements of the tasks in the new situation" has identified the Mobile Police Force as one of the six forces prioritized for modernization by 2025.

Recognizing this as a particularly important task, the Party Committee and leadership of the Command issued resolutions and plans to unify understanding and action; they focused on implementing many major work contents; among which, they identified four key, urgent task groups.

This includes building a streamlined, efficient, and strong organization, structure, and human resources to meet the demands of the new situation; researching and proposing to competent authorities the effective implementation of comprehensive investment projects on barracks, training grounds, and practice areas; and equipping the Mobile Police force with weapons, vehicles, and technical equipment to modernize their operations.

Speaking at the field trip and study tour, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duy Bac expressed his admiration and pride in the great achievements that the Mobile Police Force has accomplished over the past 50 years, worthy of the trust of the Party, the State, and the people.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duy Bac and his fellow trainees of the training course expressed their desire to continue cooperating with the Ministry of Public Security and the Mobile Police Command to contribute to the building of a regular, elite, and modern force in accordance with the resolutions of the Party and the State, and the trust of the people.

After more than two years of vigorous implementation, several important results have been achieved: In terms of legal basis, the 15th National Assembly passed the Law on Mobile Police; the Government issued one Decree, and the Ministry of Public Security issued five Circulars guiding the implementation of the Law. The organizational structure and human resources have been streamlined and strengthened from the central to local levels, ensuring sufficient numbers and a balanced structure.

On behalf of the Party Committee and the leadership of the Command, Major General Le Ngoc Chau would like to express his deepest gratitude to the Party Committee of the Central Public Security, the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, and the Board of Directors of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy for their attention, assistance, and support in enabling the Mobile Police Command to report to the leaders, delegates, and the training course on the process of building and developing the force.

At the same time, we would like to thank the Steering Committee, the Management Board, and the comrades of the Training Course for Cadres Planning to Become Members of the Central Committee of the 14th Party Congress for taking the time to visit, study the practical situation, and contribute valuable opinions to the Mobile Police force.

Commander Le Ngoc Chau also expressed his gratitude to the leaders of central ministries and agencies, as well as the Party committees and authorities of the localities. In particular, he thanked the localities where the Mobile Police units are stationed, such as Lao Cai, Thai Nguyen, Hung Yen, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Thua Thien Hue, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Dong Nai, Binh Thuan, and Tra Vinh, for their cooperation and support in helping the officers and soldiers of the Mobile Police force successfully complete their tasks.

During the field trip, leaders, delegates, and trainees of the training course observed officers and soldiers of the Mobile Police Command report on training results; practiced handling situations involving large crowds causing security and order disturbances; and watched a documentary film about the 50-year history of building, fighting, and developing the Mobile Police force.
