The Youth Union of Hanoi Pedagogical University is honored to have been recognized by the Party and the State and awarded the Third-Class Labor Medal – a prestigious reward for the tireless efforts of the university's youth.
On March 20th, Hanoi Pedagogical University held a ceremony to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and to receive the Labor Order, Third Class, for the second time.
Since its inception, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hanoi National University of Education has pioneered many major youth movements across the country.
This is also the first university-level Youth Union branch nationwide to be awarded the Third-Class Labor Medal for the second time, after having already been awarded the First-Class Labor Medal by the President in 2012.
Pham Thi Thanh Thuy, Secretary of the Youth Union of Hanoi Pedagogical University, affirmed: “Receiving this honor, each Youth Union official and each youth member of the university is even more aware of their responsibility to continue the tradition, constantly train, study, and contribute. This is not only a noble reward but also a motivation for the youth of the university to continue to innovate, create, and contribute more to the cause of education and national development.”
Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duc Son, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the University and Rector of Hanoi Pedagogical University, acknowledged the contributions of generations of union members, youth, students, staff, and lecturers in the university, especially their creativity, pioneering spirit, youthful energy, enthusiasm, and intellect.
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duc Son assessed that, at this time, receiving the prestigious award from the Party and the State - the Labor Order, Third Class, for the second time - demonstrates that the younger generation of the school is continuing the tradition of their teachers and predecessors.
The President of Hanoi National University of Education believes that tradition will continue to be promoted, maintained, strengthened and spread.
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duc Son expressed his wish: "In the future, the university's youth union, students, and young people will continue to share the same vision with the university, building Hanoi Pedagogical University into a key national pedagogical university, where traditional values continue to be maintained and promoted."
On this occasion, Hanoi National University of Education presented flowers to express gratitude to the former Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the school's Youth Union of all periods.
