Over the years, the trade union organization of Military Region 7 has been constantly consolidated and improved, and its activities have become increasingly systematic and effective. Currently, the entire Military Region 7 has 9/27 affiliated units with trade unions, with 19 grassroots trade unions and more than 3,000 union members.

Activities of the Military Region 7 trade union such as visiting, giving gifts, and resolving policies on the occasion of Lunar New Year and Workers' Month were organized promptly, carrying profound humanistic meaning.

Specifically, it has visited, encouraged, and provided financial assistance to nearly 2,500 cases of serious illness, accidents, etc.; coordinated medical examination and treatment, and given gifts to more than 18,500 people in remote areas, heroic Vietnamese mothers, and children orphaned by the Covid-19 epidemic; implemented the program "Trade union shelter, comradely affection", built 6 new houses and repaired 18 houses; supported 3.5 billion VND to help many union members and workers in especially difficult circumstances...

Lieutenant General Tran Hoai Trung, Political Commissar of Military Region 7, thanked the attention of the Chief of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; 172 outstanding delegates, representing the intelligence, will and aspirations of nearly 4,000 cadres, union members and workers in the armed forces of Military Region 7.

Delegates attending the congress voted to elect delegates to the 10th Congress of the Army Trade Union.
