Last week, Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam was honored to receive a commendation from the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department for its good compliance with regulations and high achievements in paying customs taxes in Ho Chi Minh City in 2023.

Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department recently held a ceremony to "Honor 21 Outstanding Enterprises in Import-Export Activities in 2023". Notably, Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam is the only beverage company to be honored for its efforts to accompany and develop with the customs sector, comply with the law and make great contributions to the local budget.

The Organizing Committee awarded certificates of merit to outstanding enterprises in 2023.

Import-export activities not only promote economic development, but also contribute to tax revenue and increase the budget for the city in particular and the country in general. In 2023, when the economy faces many challenges after the Covid-19 pandemic, the contributions from businesses with excellent business performance will become even more meaningful. Ho Chi Minh City recorded more than 65,000 businesses with import-export activities in the area, with a turnover of more than 115 billion USD - accounting for about 16% of the whole industry and state budget revenue of more than 117,000 billion VND - accounting for more than 33% of the whole industry. Speaking at the ceremony, representatives of Ho Chi Minh City leaders highly appreciated the efforts of Suntory PepsiCo and the business community to overcome difficulties and challenges in 2023. The economy has encountered many "headwinds", along with the support of management agencies, businesses have been proactive and creative to maintain, expand production and export, contribute to the general budget and promote economic development of the city.

In addition to the commendation from the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department, Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam has also received many certificates of merit from the Ministry of Finance , the General Department of Taxation, the Tax Department and the People's Committees of 5 provinces and cities where the company has factories, etc. for its good compliance with tax policies, effective contribution to the state budget, and promotion of local economic development.
