Businesses have an increasing need for connectivity.
On December 10th, the "Supplier Day 2025" event took place at Long Hau Industrial Park, Tay Ninh, attracting 30 businesses in various fields including mechanics, cosmetics, medical equipment, garment manufacturing, and supporting industries.

According to Mr. Bui Le Anh Hieu, Marketing Director of Long Hau JSC, this industrial park currently has 215 operating businesses, of which 50% are FDI enterprises (Japan, South Korea, Europe, China) and 50% are Vietnamese enterprises. The main industries include electronics, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, and garment manufacturing – sectors with a high demand for flexible supply chains and high technical standards.
Mr. Hieu added that most businesses in the industrial park are B2B manufacturers, so access to markets and finding suitable suppliers is just as important as production infrastructure. “ Connecting and supporting the expansion of output is a key factor in this period of economic volatility. Our goal is to create a circular economy right within the industrial park,” Mr. Hieu said.
Thanks to this demand, Supplier Day has become a meeting point in recent years for businesses to expand their internal supply chains and establish new partnerships with external businesses.

For new businesses, Supplier Day is a crucial opportunity to expand their network. Mr. Le Trung Tuyen, Director of VietTech Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. (established just one year ago), said: VietTech participated in the event with the goal of reaching businesses in the area and finding suitable partners in the supply chain.
“New businesses find it very difficult to access large customers, especially FDI companies, without direct networking opportunities. Supplier Day helps us understand the real needs of each industry, thereby repositioning our products and technical capabilities,” Mr. Trung Tuyen shared.
From the perspective of FDI businesses, Mr. Bui Anh Long, CEO of Tazmo Vietnam Co., Ltd., stated: Electronics businesses want to expand production but still heavily rely on imported components.
"Domestic supply capacity is limited, so B2B connections are essential. Activities like Supplier Day help businesses find potential suppliers, gradually increasing the localization rate and reducing dependence on external sources," Mr. Long emphasized.
The trend of choosing multi-purpose factory buildings is increasing.
Alongside the need for supply chain connectivity, another prominent trend at this year's event is the increasing preference of manufacturing businesses for multi-story factory models. According to Mr. Le Trung Tuyen, Director of VietTech Precision Machinery Co., Ltd., this is a suitable option for new businesses as it optimizes industrial land area while meeting the technical requirements of modern production lines.

For example, this trend is quite evident in the Long Hau Industrial Park. Mr. Bui Le Anh Hieu stated that the company's 9-story multi-purpose factory building, which recently commenced operations, has already occupied 40% of its space, and the business expects to reach 100% capacity in 2026. The 9-story multi-purpose factory building was launched at the Supply Chain Connection Day.
One of the reasons why multi-purpose workshops are popular is their cost-effectiveness. According to Long Hau's calculations, businesses renting this type of facility can reduce operating costs by approximately 20%, thanks to shared security and surveillance systems, operational services, temporary storage, and technical infrastructure, instead of having to invest independently. Rental costs are also about 15% lower than traditional workshops because floor space is maximized on the same plot of land.
“For manufacturing businesses, cost is a decisive factor. When sharing infrastructure and services, recurring costs are significantly reduced. This will also be the main direction of industrial real estate development in the coming time,” a representative from Long Hau commented.
In addition to saving costs, providing clean water directly to each factory also helps businesses reduce bottled water costs and plastic waste, factors that are becoming increasingly important in the ESG index.
Anticipating the "China +1" shift.
According to Mr. Bui Le Anh Hieu, the demand for readily available production space has increased sharply in the last two years. Notably, the "China +1" relocation wave is not only coming from Chinese businesses but also from many European and American businesses operating in China, as they seek to diversify supply chain risks.
Among the new businesses, tenants from China account for approximately 30%, primarily in the electronics, circuit board manufacturing, medical device testing, and garment accessories sectors. Simultaneously, the industrial park has also attracted a significant number of domestic businesses relocating from Ho Chi Minh City in search of a more suitable production environment and more competitive costs.
The rapidly growing supporting industries, light industries, and especially the high-tech business sector in Long Hau Industrial Park have created the foundation for Supplier Day to become an effective networking forum. For many years, this model has helped businesses expand their market reach, find suitable suppliers, and form supply chains both within and outside the park. It is also an important channel for new businesses to access the existing manufacturing ecosystem.
