Mr. Vu Le Chung Anh - Chairman of the People's Committee of Tram Tau district, Yen Bai province said: The Gau Tao festival of the Mong ethnic group is held annually, attracting a large number of friends, tourists, and people of all ethnic groups inside and outside the province. The festival includes a ceremony and a festival with rich and diverse contents, imbued with the cultural identity of the Mong ethnic group. The ceremony includes the ritual of burning incense and praying to the gods for permission to hold the festival in front of the pole. The festival includes activities such as people participating in the Khen dance, throwing Pao, jumping Pao rope, dragon hatching eggs, blindfolded goat catching, stick pushing, top fighting, pipe singing, love song, mouth harp, leaf trumpet, and two-stringed fiddle.
